At P.L.A.Y.S. our
goal is to alleviate juvenile delinquency, substance
abuse, teenage pregnancy, and high school dropouts
by providing positive environments and role models.
P.L.A.Y.S. is dedicated to the promotion of personal
achievement by providing youth with a foundation
for competing in our society today, not just in sports,
but as productive citizens of tomorrow.
Services provided include exercise techniques and
nutritional information. These functions are administrated
through a Certified Personal Trainer and a Nutrition
Specialist. Other services rendered are:
- Exercises to increase students foot speed and
coordination.
- Exercises that will develop lower and upper
body muscles.
- Exercises to aid change of direction skills
while in motion.
- Exercises to improve center gravity and balance.
- Exercises to improve quickness and coordination
while running.
- Information on healthy alternatives when dining
at fast food restaurants.
- Information on food groups to eat to achieve
maximum benefits of training.
P.L.A.Y.S. offers training programs designed to improve
the athletic ability of all age groups, genders and
athletic skill levels:
- Toddlers, ages 3-6 (Start Smart Sports
Development Program)
- Student Athletes, ages 8-20
- Recreational Student Athletes, ages 6-16
- Adult Athletes
- Professional Athletes
- Occupational Athletes
